2.1 Tumors

CASE #1:

  FINDINGS:
T1: periostal reaction associated with isointense lesion located at the anterior cortex of  mid-tibial diaphysis
T2: the 4 mm lesion is now hyperintense
post-GADO: intense enhancement of the cortical lesion

  DIAGNOSIS:
          9

CASE #2:

  FINDINGS:
Bony outgrowth involving right iliac crest with high intensity in T1 suggesting fat content

  DIAGNOSIS:
          9

CASE #3:

  FINDINGS:
T1 slightly hyperintense and T2 hyperintense well delimited heterogenous mass in the right vastus medialis muscle.

In close proximity to the femoral shaft and neurovascular bundle but without invasion.

  DIAGNOSIS:
          9

CASE #4:

  FINDINGS:
Well defined soft tissue lesion that involve the vastus lateralis and shows  intermediate signal in T1 and very high signal in T2 weighted sequences. The lesion is partly intra-muscular and partly extra-muscular and shows a strong heterogenous enhancement. A small fatty component is seen in the inferior part of the lesion.

  DIAGNOSIS:
          9

CASE #5:
